Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente (about 10-12 minutes). Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
While the chicken is cooking, in a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, chicken broth, and lime juice.
Once the chicken is cooked, pour the honey mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss everything gently together until the pasta is well coated with the honey pepper sauce and mixed with the chicken.
Remove from heat, and if desired, garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
